Our Value Stream Leader (VSL) is an experience Product Manager that is responsible for achieving product vitality and profitable growth objectives for our Indoor Residential Lighting business. He/she serves as coach and mentor to employees and leads a matrixed, cross-functional multi-disciplinary team including marketing, engineering, quality, technical and product support, sourcing to achieve P&L objectives.
Responsible for achieving product vitality and profitable growth objectives for assigned Value Stream. Serves as coach and mentor of product value stream within the segment. Leads cross-functional multi-disciplinary team including marketing, engineering, quality, technical and product support, sourcing to achieve P&L objectives.
To be successful in the role, key deliverables achieved through:
1) Selecting (and managing) the best possible leaders across the different Value Streams and centralized support organizations.
2) Providing leadership for and setting general direction of product and market development activities for all assigned products
3) Coordinating and communicating with Sales Channel and Supply Chain leadership to enhance the ability of a Product Value Stream to achieve its profitable growth objectives.
4) Managing the P&L, and using ABS tools to achieve breakthrough results
Key Tasks & Responsibility % of Time
Provide leadership for a Product Value Stream with strategic vision for the products, involving an understanding of the market trends, product roadmap and competitive landscape. Work with senior management to set a vision for future achievements (profitable growth & product vitality). Translate the vision in to appropriate 90 day plans and KPIs to ensure organizational commitment across all levels. 25%
Drive key Annual Improvement Priorities that cut across all product value streams to help meet overall Acuity Lighting Breakthrough objectives. 20%
Embrace ABS and foster adoption of the tools and mindset across VS. Ensure VS participation and objectives are incorporated in broader business goals including other AIPs, kaizen events, and general projects/initiatives. 20%
Drive a top talent organization through the hiring and development of key roles within VS. Implement and drive development plans to grow future leaders, meet topgrading and talent funnel goals are met. Deliver 100% on time to performance management tools for areas of responsibility. 10%
Own the P&L. Partner with finance to understand performance of the organization, identify and act on trends, and institute processes and countermeasures to achieve period over period improved operating results. Cascade this through VS. 10%
Drive market share and margin growth through fully understanding operational & supply chain issues and engaging regularly with the commercial business, both agents and customers. Use data and field engagement to further the relationships. Engage in significant vendor and customer initiatives to ensure margin and overall gain to ABL. 15%
Requirements:
10 12 years of experience. Experience should also include P&L management. Successful development and launch of multiple products.
Experience in significant strategic changes to product roadmap, product families. Implementation of brand strategy changing at least 1 key element (such as consolidation of brands, expansion in to adjacent markets with existing products, launch into new markets, significant GTM change, entry to new channels, leverage new technology).
Experience managing cross functional teams both directly and through influence.
Integration of locations or businesses within a broader organization; may include acquisition, facility closures, green field operations.
Operational experience such as production, supply chain, materials, or product or technical support.
Must have work experience in a technical industry and experience working with similar sales channels.
Bias for action and demonstrated achievement of results.
Educational Background
Bachelors degree in engineering, finance, business administration
MBA preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
